Research Institutes

French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA)
‘This support [of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Ecology and Environment of the CNRS] involves a call to consider articles recommended by PCI as well as an article published in an indexed scientific journal’

Evaluation Commitees

‘The Specialized Scientific Commission (CSS) "Biology of Populations and Ecosystems (BPE)" […] will consider articles recommended by PCI Evol Biol in the same way as a peer-reviewed article’
‘Section 29 [of the National Committee of the Scientific Research] will consider articles recommended by PCI Evol Biol as an article published in an indexed scientific journal’
'Section 52 [of the National Committee of the Scientific Research] will consider the articles recommended by PCI Evol Biol, PCI Ecology and PCI Paleo in the same way as an article published in an indexed scientific journal. This measure will be extended to any other variations of PCI that may emerge.’
‘In all its work (qualifications, promotions, PEDR and career monitoring,…), the CNU 67 section will consider the productions recommended by PCI in the same way as articles published in scientific index journals.’
“With regard to the quality charter developed by the Peer Community in (PCI) (PCI Evol Biol, PCI Ecology and PCI Paleontology), the Doctoral School “Materials, Radiation and Environmental Sciences” (ED SMRE)(University of Lille Nord de France) considers that a preprint recommended by a PCI is equivalent to a publication in an indexed journal and in this respect joins the position taken by various French national evaluation councils (CSS INRA BPE, sections 29 and 52 of the CoNRS, section CNU 67)“
'With regard to the quality and ethics charter of the Peer Community in (PCI) Ecology, Evolutionary Biology and Paleontology, the Doctoral School 'Sciences de la Nature et de l'Homme : écologie & évolution' (ED 227, MNHN- Sorbone Université) considers that recommendation by a PCI is equivalent to publication in the best journals in the field.'
'With regard to the quality and ethics charter of the Peer Community in (PCI) Ecology, Evolutionary Biology and Paleontology, the Doctoral School in Plant Sciences: from Gene to ecosystem (ED 567, Paris-Saclay University) considers that a preprint recommended by a PCI is equivalent to a publication in the best journals of the field.'
