Research director (equivalent to tenured professor) at CNRS (French National Center for Scientific Research) - attached to CEFE, Montpellier Interest going from population genetics to community ecology, with specific interest in reproduction, sexual selection, bioinvasions and community genetics. Mostly an empiricist using freshwater snails as biological models, but strong interest in theoretical and conceptual approaches. Empirical approaches : genetic markers, experimental evolution, long-term field surveys of snail communities.
