Areas of expertise
We try to understand how genomes evolve plastic phenotypes in response to fluctuating selection pressures and how the genetics of phenotypes constrain this process. Empirically, we mainly focus on sexual dimorphism and antagonism in fruitflies, but we are also starting to work on plastic growth responses to the environment in yeast.
